To file your request for a free-trade zone declaration, it is necessary to request an appointment with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism to present the project.

Once the presentation has been made and when all the documentation is available, your username and password must be requested through the link that will be sent to the email registered in the appointment request.

When the username and password have been assigned, you must enter the platform and file the application, uploading the required documents according to the free-trade zone modality to which it applies.

After filing the documents, the professionals in charge of your project can make observations and requirements regarding the content of the application, which will be notified to your email and can be consulted through the platform.

To file the response to the requirements, it will be necessary to sign in with the assigned username and password.

The application below aims to help you correctly fill out and validate the requirements that must be taken into account for the application for declaration as a free-trade zone in its different modalities and allow the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism to verify that the application includes the required documentation to be filed.

It is understood that before carrying out this procedure you must have prior knowledge of the requirements to request declaration as a free-trade zone and have the documentation ready either in PDF or Excel format based on the New Regulations on the Free Trade Regime as set out Decree-Law 2147/2016).

Remember that the form must be completely filled out. You must upload complete information. Enter zero (0) in numerical fields that do not apply. Verify the information you are uploading to the platform. Make sure it is correct. Remember to save and continue the process. The maximum storage capacity per attached file is 100Mb and 300Mb per block of files. PDF and Excel versions are allowed for financial statements; AUTOCAD for plans.
